Plan A if you can, obvously. Otherwise I reccomend Option D for what you want to do to it. I like the idea of a super-track monster. Option E might put you out of a lot of money...
But in the meantime you still have the enjoyment of a moderate performer with an attitude.
If you can't afford to "go big or go home" like you seem to want to do, I see no reason you should compromise your 5thgen Camaro dreams with a 'Vette or some junker. my .02
