This is not the place. When I had my custom truck in San Diego I got pulled over about every 3 months. Just so they can check the emissions legality of my aftermarket parts.
He's doing his job, I don't agree with the Law but that isn't the Officer's fault.
Don't go there.
Thanks.

:seesaw: We need to remember that most people who have a job are simply just doing what their told. When the asshole boss says that they need to get more tinted windows or hit their moving violation quota, they have to do it. It's part of the job. In this case, your cop was less than sensitive to having told you to change your tent. As the devil's advocate, I will point out that you probably were aware of your local tint laws when they asked you to pay another $10 for each 10% darker your windows got. Most states forbid or limit forward tint. If you have a legal reason for your tint, then you will unfortunately have to deal with cops pulling you over and taking your medical documents to the clerk a couple times per year. Also as the devil's advocate, I will point out that the cop should have waived your ticket due to the medical rationale and that he damaged your property, which is an offense for which you can prosecute.
Cops aren't perfect; nor are their bosses; nor are the laws they are sworn to protect; nor are the people who write and sign those laws; nor are the people who elect those people.
