I don't believe so. Educated buyers know not to buy expensive cars in affluent area. If a person in a major city, Miama for instance, is at the local dealer and they are asking for MSRP for a Corvette and a dealer 1000 miles away is asking $8000 under MSRP for the same car it is stupid to buy the car locally.
The stupid will always part with their money quickly.
Regardless of that, the cars are sitting unbought in Miama and Michigan, so my point is correct.
