2012 viper is a go........it was on the list during chryslers 5 year plan powerpoint and then just last week during the dealer show. two separate dealer owners who went confirmed that the 2012 viper was shown to everyone in attendance. of course there are no pics because it was a private showing for dealers and metal detectors were used and no phones were allowed.
Describing the cars they see in a 'private showing' is in violation of the NDA they sign. They are not allowed to talk about any product they see at a 'private showing'. This is a rumor and speculation of what anyone saw. Learn to distinguish plausible rumors from fanboy wishes.

Chrysler is a financially inept company with subpar products, never take anything as a fact until you see it with your own eyes. I personally liked the 2008-2010 Viper and hope they continue in the same theme, but I have reservations.

None of this matters. Take the following figures and do the math.

1. How much did they spend developing the Challenger?
2. How much does it cost to make a Challenger?
3. How much profit for Chrysler is in each Challenger?

At only 30,000 a year they are losing money. Any mass produced car selling only 30,000 is on the chopping block to be discontinued.
