If you havent already, take the side panels off and leave them off and see if that helps the freezing-- if it was overheating, this should help pinpoint that.

They thought it was overheating at first. So they sent out a guy to replace all the cooling fans, the motorboard, the power supply and wiring harness , and the video card. They gave him a new hard drive also ,but he didn't replace that or the processor. Everything else is replaced.
It's an I7 960, with 12gb ram, 1TB 7,200rpm hard drive, ata hd5870 vid card
running on window 7 64bit.
