I'm not sure where they got their numbers but Road and Track tested the Veyron and ripped off a 9 flat 1/4 mile. And being that the Bugatti can hit 253 mph, it ain't faster in any respect.
That said I'm sure the Chally was a hell of a lot cheaper, but the Bugatti at least won't blow up in 200 miles, and is streetable. I hate how they feel the need to compare cars that shouldn't even be compared. That Challenger is pretty sweet either way, just don't claim its faster than the Veyron, nothing wrong with that.
