GMAC is being seperated out of the total GM debt because GM only has a 49% stake in GMAC and is falling under other considerations as a finantial institution. It is getting it's own bailout, and it is not part of what the GM manufacturing portion is. So if the government does not include GMAC we cannot either, they have their own management, Wagonner does not run GMAC, Alvaro de Molina is the CEO of GMAC..
