It sounds like they did well. My concern is the endurance of this car. I was skeptical of the GT-R, and it turned out to be an embarrassment in the warranty and transmission departments. My concern with the Genesis is that, as Hyundai's first performer, it will have more bugs than the average performance car in its bracket. It seems like Hyundai has worked hard to make a viable competitor in the 300-hp range, but I want to know that it is reliable.

Perceptions aside, it is a nice car. If we still lived by perceptions, American-made products would be garbage.
