Definitely true! I own a '98 Camaro Convertible Automatic V6 and for years I was kicking myself in the ass about not getting a V8 manual, but I didn't know how to drive stick.
In March 2006, a friend of my wife's taught me how to drive manual on a crappy Honda Civic hatchback, to prepare me for when my custom Cobalt SS Supercharged was ready to be delivered to me. Man, was it worth the wait!
Now I'm poised for my 2010 Camaro 2SS R/S and can easily drive manual as if it were second nature!
If you respect yourself, you should respect your Camaro!
