And yea, the whole "wtf is a truck doing with an odd number of cylinders thing" seems to scare people. Everyone I've told that I have a 5 cylinder says "you mean 6" and I have to explain the whole inline thing. I'm betting that salesman aren't nearly good enough at explaining it and people end up getting the 4 (even though it's basically the same engine but missing a cylinder) or running away.

And I don't see the problem with not offering a stick in the v8. The only reason you'd want it is for towing and an auto is better to tow with than a stick soo..... Well I guess that some would want to race with it but even still...
The trouble is the competition can make cheap plastic cars like the Fit and get praise for the nice interiors, so there should be a way to make the truck interiors a little nicer.

There is such a thing as a plastic interior that looks and feels good and one that looks and feels cheap. The Colorado interior looks cheap. Mr brother even laments that the H3 is so much nicer inside and I still think it's not as good as it could be because it was hampered by being built on the same platform. For example, it has no steering wheel mounted radio controls. Also, the heated seat switches are buried on the side of the seat where nobody can find them unless they know where to "feel" with their hand.
