Now before anybody stones me Think about it, The results would be depending on boost a little over 500hp, curb weight of 3600lbs maybe, Good fuel economy, the price would be about $40,000 which under cuts the GT500 substantialy. How about it??

Ford has been toying with a twin turbo EcoBoost system for the Mustang. It will have comparable performance with the GT. There's no reason that the Z28 can't be that sort of alternative to the SS. All GMPP has to do is play with the LLT. It would take a little tuning and development, but this is a very realistic compromise with the green image that GM is trying to make and the performance enthusiasts that want GM to stay ahead of the competition. For some people, the V8 rumble isn't as important as performance, and we all know that supercharged and turbocharged factory cars have lots of tuning and upgrade options in the aftermarket. A TTV6 Z28 would hit with a splash in all markets, including the ones that focus on emissions.
