Just copied this from a Mustang forum:
"I raced a 2002 Camaro SS today in my 2007 V6 Mustang. I was actually surprised he didn't beat me by more. We were neck and neck until he went into second. I really thought he would kill me off the line. We did about 1/8 mile and he had me by 2 or 3 car lengths."
That V6 Mustang owner was bragging about how he stayed fairly close to the Camaro SS, and other posters congratulated him for his efforts. I'm sure somewhere the Camaro owner was also bragging about how he blew away a Mustang (and assumed it was a GT, or at least told people that it was). The V6 Camaro is going to be a great car. But if you buy the V6, please don't race Mustang GTs with it. We don't need Mustang GT owners relating how they raced and destroyed the new Camaros.

braggin about how he stayed with a camaro that more than likely feathered it off the line, then hit second and left the kid.
if you are going to race, keep it to the track. there will be V-6 camaros out there that will beat GT's, I guarantee it. but it will be more of a driver thing when they do win.
