FIRST OF ALL, I'M AM NOT, IN ANY WAY TRYING TO PREACH!!! JUST EXPLAINING WHAT HAPPENED IN MY CASE.
Is a cop/police officer. Which I am under the assumption he is. If so, whichever, I am a correcect. Believe me, It is no fun getting a(an) DUI or a DWI. It is no fun. It is no fun/nor not wortth it at all!
I am 26 and have got a DUI and a DWI under my belt, and let me tell you, they are no fun, let me tell you. Not tryin to preach, but if you drink and drive, they will catch you. No denying it.
Example one: I had just turned 18, and was ready for the 'real world'.(or so I thought)to move in with my friend in dallas(same age as me,18). I pack all my shit(cloths and such from my parents) and make my trip from where I was livin at the time, Wichita Falls, TX, to Dallas,Tx. Anyways....I get there, we hit up a few parties my buddy from dallas had introduced me to. Next thingt we knew we we're pulled over and, long story short, I got my first DWI. Not a fun time calling your parents asking them to bail you out of jail, regardless of why you we're there. Especially when you had convinced them up and down you were ready for the 'real world' up and down left and right.
That was the worst feeling in the world: first of all, convincing your parents, straight out of high school, that you were ready for the 'real world' and then all of a sudden calling and beggin for you parents to 'bail you out of jail'. Trust me. IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!. I'M NOT TRYING TO PREACH, BUT PLEASE DONT LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!!!! IT IS NOT A FEELING YOU WANT TO GO THROUGH!!!!
:EDIT: ITS NO FUN CALLING YOUR PARENTS ASKING THEM TO BAIL YOU OUT OF JAIL ON YOUR 'SUPPOSDE' FIRSTY NIGHT OUT IN THE 'REAL WORLD'.
*EDIT* Going ong 6 years since my last DUI/DWI or any aresst/citation. woohoo!
