Bonnie left for the office before me. When I went to leave, my keys were gone. So I spent about 2 hours looking for them before I gave up.
My car is still in Louisiana. So I'm driving our Jeep that my son drives. My daughter, 13 years old, finally gets home from school (Bonnie at work alone and PISSED, lol) and Rebecca says, "Why are you here?"
I say in a REALLY mean way "Where are my damn keys?"
Now when she didn't fire back at me with a defensive remark like I expected her to, I felt something was up. So she goes in her room, comes out and asks if I looked in the couches. Hmmmmmmmm............... I tell her of course I did.
She goes in the game room, about 5 seconds later she comes out WITH THE KEYS and says "OMG dad. They are right here, jees, you really looked hard. You been here all day and I found them in 10 seconds".........
I was PISSED...... I know DAMN good and well, she had just went in there and planted them. She had them in her book bag. Yesterday evening she was bugging me to let her drive around the block.
Kids are a trip...............
