I would of loved to get a GT when I got my car... but I got a V6 stang for my 16th birthday. Most 16 yr olds can't say they got a brand new 22K car for their b-days, so I was pretty happy and I wasn't going to demand a GT from my parents (not to mention they also bought me $2500 wheels and tires)
