they built some but were never sold
I saw one at a Corvette museum in Daytona Beach called Klassix or Klassics it had one vette for every model year and in the front entrance they had a 53 and whatever the current model year was new side by side on a turntable. but alas the museum was shut down and all the cars that did not belong to the owner were auctioned off :(.
