For those among us who are younger, and have grown up driving V6 and 4 cylinder cars, which they often modify to increase performance, the V6 Camaro offers the same, if not more, performance, at a price most can afford. i gotta say that, even being one of the younger guys, until recently, i've always had some sort of V8, and even though i appreciate what the V6 cars can do now, i wouldn't call it a muscle car without a V8

I'm not sure that I'd refer to the V6 Camaro as a "muscle car", but I will tell you that I'm VERY excited about it. same here, but it's more of an excitement for the average joe who will be buying it just to have a nice car

i believe they're saying how good it sounds compared to other 4/6 cylinder models. i don't think any muscle car enthusiast will even put a V6 sound on par with a V8 (especially if that V8 is a pushrod engine)
