I've said this before and I'll say it again: in all the racing I've done... on the street and at the strip... I've NEVER lost to a Saleen Mustang... maybe its the drivers... maybe its the cars... but in 2002, a bone stock Z28 (well, ok, I had a flowmaster muffler on it) driven by me out ran a supercharged S281... and I dont forsee there being any problem with the 5th gen beating Saleen Stangs, either.
at least the Roush Stangs have a chance of being fast... I've seen them get some good times and be well driven on the streets... but, in all honesty, I've raced one in my '99 FRC (which is stock except for the tune) and the FRC walked the Stage3 from a 60punch... the owner didn't want to run again and exited the freeway.
