Just about all Car manufactures offer a 6spd transimssion these days from Hyundai to Ferrari!! I think your post is a good example of why ford can throw anything they want into the mustang no matter how much it underperforms compared to the competition, Because they know the have a radical loyal mustang fan base that will suck up the mustang no matter how crappy it is compared to the competition. I am glad that GM's camaro fanbase has Higher standards which has led to the 5th Gen Camaro that looks to be a truly world class car. |
Never did I say a 6 speed SHOULDN'T be put in a car, just that it was my opinion that it's an unnecessary and superfluous gear. It's also funny that you bash Mustangs and their owners about "sucking up the Mustang no matter how crappy it is compared to the competition" when as of yet, there is no competition; you and alot of people on this forum have put so much faith and passion into a car that isn't even in owners' hands yet. Obviously you have some disdain of Mustang owners which I don't even feel like going into. I was simply stating my opinion, which is basically the purpose of forums like this.
