I like the styling of the '10 Mustang better than the Camaro, but i do believe the Camaro will be a better all-around drive. Who knows until the car hits the streets. I test drove a '05 GT when they were new and it was a great driving car, heads and tails over mine. That is what is will down to for me,driving both of them.
I never liked the boat feeling of the last 2 LS1 F-bodies i drove before i got my Mustang,it's slower but more nimble feeling and still fast for a DD,so that's what i went with. Again, math is one thing, driving is another.
I will never understand why people have such a narrow view on these cars that they break them down to cold dead numbers. Yes,it's nice to know what each car will do for certain benchmarks,i've fallen in that trap as well, but the drive is the thing. I've owned a Miata and a E46 BMW,both were hardly impressive on paper, but OMG they were heavenly to drive. So if the Mustang is more fun and pushes more personal buttons, that will be the car, same for the Camaro....sound,feel,looks. I really want to test drive a GT500 or SRT8 anything(Magnum,Challenger) to experience what "bowel emptying acceleration" feels like.
I love Camaros and Mustangs,i love all pony cars,i've been here a few months but not for any reason other than to learn about the Camaro,i'm not scared or here to defend my car. I'll defend it if someone says something stupid about though.
