Part of it was that I preferred Cliffjumper over bumblebee from the original transformers, and I was irked I couldn't fine a proper colored Red Cliffjumper.. I have a Gen1 yellow cliffjumper still.
Forgot about all of that until it came time to getting a new car. I had a hard time telling Inferno orange from Victory red, but loved the color of RJT. Adding the black stripes does finish it off quite nicely. The matte black works great with the color, and isn't as sharp as RJT with white stripes. The silver stripes do match the actual camaro cliffjumper toy better, but I liked the black ones.
I love how RJT looks when it is shined up real nice.
Other colors I considered were silver and aqua blue. Silver was out thanks to my wife saying so, and the fact the Camry is grey and her malibu is silver.
