Gm supplied him with the molds and parts , so essentially he sub contracted out to GM to make a Hollywood prop. He assembled the car and made the frame fit nothing thousands of shop across the country can't do. I remember him saying how GM was working with him giving him info and how he was going to possibly work on a Saleen Camaro if would let him. He sang plenty of praise on the car back then. Whats even funnier is he put money into that mustang/movie all he did is give ford a commercial. Who sees the mustang in the movie and think Saleen? To top it off he say bumblebee was going to be the mustang hahaahahahahahahahaha talk about sour grapes. Nowhere other than his mouth has anybody ever heard this everybody heard about VW not wanting in but this?
