I certainly can't speak with any level of factual information on this particular topic, but my guess would be that they have very little parts inventory on hand. This is the day of just-in-time inventory and my guess is that is why GM is crying foul and saying it will delay the Camaro release. I am sure they have some sitting on the shelves for a certain amount of cars, but I would guess that 10,000 is not the number. Perhaps someone from Oshawa (or any plant for that matter) can comment on how many days-on-hand inventory they typically keep. I am sure they would start rolling as many cars out as they do have inventory for though.
