my step grandfather would buy like a brand new Marquis ever few years like clockwork. I think he personally kept the local Lincoln Mercury dealer in town open that much longer (back when it was owned by the same family, it has since been bought out by the local company that owns all the ford/mazda/kia/GM ones). when he passed away in like 2001/2002 his 99 Marquis LS sedan which only had 14K miles on it never rolled down the back windows, never used the A/C, never used the stereo, and never used the cruise control
. His son got it in the will and traded it in for a new DTS Caddy, I liked that old GM :(.
