Thats kinda funny, because he relayed a story about his girlfriend writing "I love you Prashant" on his rear window. Well Prashant is an Indian name, so I was contacted him congratulating him on not being a typical Indian and stickin with the Hondas/Nissans.
Anyway, he told me a story of how he duped his father into getting the Camaro SS by actually showing him the price for the Civic full loaded and then comparing that to the price of a Camaro LS, making his father think the SS was cheaper. Long story short, his story in the PM complete contradicts his claims of being surprised in that thread. Here is the PM chain:

lol thats my dad when I was younger my dad had a 2000 honda and a 2001 honda civic. I was supposed to drive the 2000 honda but when the transmission died it wasn't driveable so we traded it in for my camaro. dealer gave us 5 grand for it. but he didn't know the transmission was busted lol. now my dad has a 2007 camry that he treats like a bently. rest of my fam has acuras lexus's or mercades. Im the only one in my entire fam to have a chevy |
Same here but my pop has driven everything. His first car here was a 76 Buick Skylark, then he got the Dodge Colt, picked up a 1991 Mazda 626 Hatchback (still running with (350,000 miles on it LOL), now he's got that a CRV and just bought out the lease on my Acura TSX, he loves that car so he's keeping it. My aunts and uncles drive the lexus and hondas. I have an uncle who bought 3 civics, same model year same trim at the same time for a discount, love being a guju.
I went from a mercury sable, to olds achieva, to acura and then good ole american muscle

well glad to see not all indians are liek my dad haha my dads rly cheap and he buys hondas because he thinks their cheap. He still thinks I shoulda bought a 2010 honda civic for my first car. but my dads kinda old and doesn't know much about the models on the camaro. so I kinda tricked him I showed him the price of the highest trim level on a civic vs the price of a camaro LS. to make him think the camaro was cheaper. Than I told the salesmen I was lookign for an SS. and when my dad saw the extra price he was like wait this isn't the price u showed me. I waslike yea it is than I went to the chevy website from my phone and showed him the MSRP for the SS and he was like oh.... well if its cheaper than the civic. |
Also another thing I found interesting if our resident detective didn't cover it, the picture of the 2 Camaros together, the synergy and rally yellow, you can see the synergy has Florida plates. So the kids from Cali and he took his rally yellow all the way to Florida to get a picture with his sister's car or her sister went to Cali. Thats a little too convenient
