Though after watching a local Police Officer get beat up by a bunch teenaged pieces of garbage I was a little touchy about the earlier comments, this Officer was punched, kicked and hit in the head with his baton approx twenty times. Five months before that, another Utica cop was shot in the head during a traffic stop. Less then a year before that a New Hartford cop was shot an killed.
