I understand your frustration, but the fact of the matter is, if you expect the warranty to be honored, you better leave the car stock. Regardless of whether or not you or anyone else thinks the clutch in the GT500 is able to handle more power than the car puts out from the factory, all you have to do is change one thing on the powertrain and you open the door for them to deny your claim. It seems to me that is exactly what happened.
How long you had the modification(s) in place or how little you think those modification(s) affected the clutch wear is a moot point. You chose to mod your car and now you are paying the consequences.
Again, I understand your frustration with having to shell out some significant money to replace an item you feel should not have to be replaced as early as it did, but as someone else noted, sometimes you have to pay to play.
