Well now they're replacing them with turbo'd v6 engines or very powerful V6 engines at the very least. I mean when the Charger came out it had 340 HP, now manufacturers are making V6 engines that have nearly the same torque and HP numbers without any turbocharger/supercharger systems. Granted the torque curves on V6 engines typically aren't as fun as the V8's but your average sedan buyer isn't going to test the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times regularly.
With that said, I can't believe they're making another Fast and the Furious. Can't they come up with another movie plot that combines hot babes and cars? Lets be honest, nobody watches the Fast and Furious for the script writing or the storyline...
