I'd say, I would hope that they had at least let me know where they were driving and I'd go out to find them. Or, I'd send my State Trooper freind in that direction if he was on duty. But I'd still go out to look.
Id they hadn't given me a single clue as to where they were, I'd hit a few bigger roads local to their home and look. I probably wouldn't spend much time if I had NO idea where to look, but I'd try.
Ok, re-read the question. I'll leave my first answer up just for the heck of it. That's what I'd do if the phone dies too.
So, in the question, the phone still works?
Then I'd ask where they are and I'd bring them some gas. Typically, I'd pick them up first so they aren't bored to tears while I went for gas.
