You are one of the few who has driven both, so your statement has merit, but feelings and hard numbers are two different things. I don't care about magazine tests, you tube videos, etc...I'm waiting to line up against an 11 GT at the track..not to whip it ass, or visa versa, but just to see how the heck these things run in the real world in the hands of the general public.
I personally think it's outstanding that Ford answered the bell with the 11 GT, love to see GM counter punch as well...this is a great time to be a muscle car owner. I also however feel that the blue oval crowd isn't paying the LS3 SS much respect, and I think that's a major insult.

I Love your attitude. I never raced my SS and I don't plan to race my 5.0 either. Both cars are fast and ferocious off the line when driven correctly. I love it that the muscle wars are back and in full stride once more. THe tables have been reveresed so to speak since back in the day, the 4th gen camaro was faster than the Mustang for a long time and now it is reversed.
