Open an account with Scott Trade or another online brokerage firm. Then deposit cash to that account and start throwing it around

I have my personal bank account linked to them so I can make deposits or withdrawals electronically. Pretty convenient.

I like ScottTrade because they don't over charge me for playing with my pennies. TradeKing punished me BAD, no more for them!

And one last thing... NEVER use money you can't afford to lose... EVER
