If you can prove negligence or that she's unfit to take care of your daughter, you can go for majority or full custody. Also, when children come of a certain age they can choose who they wish to stay at. My brother and I were given the choice to stay with either parent when we wanted I think after age 10 or 12.
Sucks for you man. I hope you pull through. Just remember there's always a silver lining somewhere. As long as you still see her from time to time, you won't miss very much. When she gets a little bit older she'll realize that you had no choice in the matter of missing a couple holidays and won't hate you for it.
