Sorry sorry - all I could think of was Uncle Buck when you said that....
For real though -- my ex cheated on me too -- for two years. He asked me to marry him,realized it wasn't what he wanted and just figured I'd "go away" like magic (yes, right...b/c I cna read minds) -- so he went through with the wedding, just to get $$ out of people to help pay bills b/c he wasted all the money for our bills paying for this woman and her two bastard kids.....
so I get how you feel on that -- but we never had kids thank God...
All I can say is that really sucks -- even if she's the biggest douche on the planet the courts tend to side with the mothers -- which is totally wrong.
My best friend and her husband are dealing with something similar (he's trying to get custody fo his daughter with his skank-bag ex wife) and even though he has a job (wifey does not), has a house and can provide the little girl with a good life (not to mention teaching her, which the mother does not do - or provide her with clothes and shoes that actually FIT) the courts still think kids have to live with their moms.....
it's a suckish world....
Things'll get better though....they always do - it might just take some time. I've been slowly getting better over the past two and a half years -- nothing spectacular to speak of but....it sure as hell beats the life I had with a lying cheating no good rotten prick
