Yes, its a real 440 Superbird... the owner was a quadriplegic, and really loved the Superbirds. So he had this one modified so he could easily ride in the car on his frequent road trips. The center section of the rear bumper was hinged and would pivot down, and then a ramp would be extended out to allow his driver to wheel him in or out of the Superbird. Notice that the front of the enclosure has viewing windows so Rich could enjoy the view/ride...
I have heard rumors that the Superbird has been restored to original stock condition, but do not know for sure.
