So...after posting on here and talking to my wife(and her telling me I don't need a new computer)...went home and started playing SC2, and all the sudden "POP" and no power...my computer will no longer come on. More than likely a power supply issue but I am going to try and work my way into getting a newer model, not quite as elaborate as OP though.
