bottles and stuff fit kinda tight in that pop-out cup holder in mine, makes for a tight fit but it holds them pretty good. I've found though the best way to prevent spills is to keep my sister out of the car.
She will drop or spill anything except for her phone.... she NEVER puts that thing down
