The ONLY way I would ever buy this 'malibu' was if it was offered in a 2 door version and had REAR drive

car was originally medium grey with vinyl top and vinyl side trim same color as the paint. when i graduated HS I had the car given a minor restoration. I removed the 'rubber roof' and had the car repainted 78 corvette 25th anniversary metallic silver. I finished it off by removing MOST of the chrome, i kept the lower body panel's chrome trim and the trim along the edge of the trunk which also ran along the edge of the tailights. i finished up the car with a set of 'rallaye' wheels from a early 80s Monte SS. sadly the car was totaled shortly after that photo was taken
