The RAZR is convenient but the quality of the phone brings it way down. I'm not sure if they updated the KRZR to be better but my 3 RAZRs have been nothing but annoyances. I will never own another RAZR line product, EVER.
These are the pros/cons imho:
Pros:
Lightweight, slips into your pocket easily and comfortably
Big color LCD screen
Camera is decent quality
Polyphonic Ringtone Capability
Cons:
Very slippery and can fall out of your pocket/hand and hit the ground quite easily
Sound quality for calls is amazingly terrible
Speakerphone volume is only as loud as turning the volume up to full and holding it from your ear (both are the same volume)
Getting to your text messages if you don't have a new one to read is difficult to learn
Battery stops holding a charge after about 3 months (3 different RAZRs with at least 2 batteries each)
AC chargers stop charging the phone after about 5-6 months (To get it to charge now I have to find a new one and plug it in and wiggle the little head slightly until it recognizes the power exchange, and even then half the time it'll move by hitting the table, walking on the carpet and cut the connection off)
The phone I have now (6 months) takes 8 hours to charge if it's off. double that if the phone is on while being charged
And there's a lot more I can say about it.
Moral: If the KRZR is just a new look for the RAZR, I would highly recommend against it.
As for main topic of the post. I still think Blackberry is better than the iPhone but that's just me.
