I just got off the phone with Mike's friend and co-worker that I met when we picked up the 'HWAY STR' last May, 2009...
I haven't been able to reach Mike since he was sent home from the hospital a little more than a week ago to await his transplant...
His friend said that Mike met with the transplant team yesterday at Gerogetown Hospital in Washington, DC....he had a lot of tests done and he is quite tired from the trip...he lives about an hour south of DC in Virginia...
Mike is getting weaker and weaker every day, since he has not had solid food in over a month since this whole ordeal began - July 1st...
I told him to remind Mike that I am praying like crazy and that my Camaro5 family and my facebook family and friends, as well as my own family and friends are praying for Mike....
I sent my love and prayers to Mike, and I am still asking all of you to keep praying, hard...
I do believe that prayers work, and I appreciate, on Mike's behalf, any and all prayers sent his way...
