What it all comes down to is how much driving we are exposed to at an early stage in life. The earlier you get a steering wheel in the hand, the more experience you'll gain and the more 'natural' driving will come to you. Thus, both men and women that grow up in the city and aren't taught how to drive by their parents before being thrown into drivers ed are usually not that great at it.
