Motortrend got a 4.7 0-60, which basically means two things.

A. they are better at driving.

and

B. You can definately get a 4.7 and probably lower if you launch it right w/ manual.

The 370z is going to loose in the straights, but more than that its going to FEEL slower because the huge gap in torque... but the Z will likely outhandle the camaro, just as it should being 600lbs lighter, smaller, and w/ 2 seats. Gas milage will be closer than you'd think in the real world with a slight edge to the Z.

I dunno the article I read was 3400 something lbs and 5.0 to 60 and 13.6 in the 1/4.

So maybe there is a 3200 lb version of the base car that can trim off 2-3 tenths to 60 and 2 in the 1/4 but it is probably bare bones and at that point I wouldn't go for it.

Even at 4.7 and say 13.4 it will lose. It will jump off the line well but the V8 will pull hard and pass it around 80 mph. Motor Trend often puts out times that are never reached again. I never trust them since no other test reviews can ever get what they claim consistantly.
