At Gingerman we pretty much run the entire course in 3rd and 4th so the 5 vs. the six is almost irrelevant. With the 19x10.5" wheel and 305/30/19 wheels we effectively raise the rear end gear. The Mustang came with a 3.73. Calculating the wheel change the Camaro runs a 3.73. Calculating the wheel change on the Mustang we are close to a 4:11. Wasn't there a discussion on how important rear end gearing is just a page or too ago?

These two cars BOTH run faster than some race cars at Gingerman. They are fast, very fast. They have excellent brakes. They are stable and predictable. I wish we had access to some European sports cars for benchmarking. I think our cars would shock people. They are iconic American Muscle that hold their won against most anything with four wheels. If you are a Camaro fan of a Mustang fan these cars prove that Detroit Iron is not only back, Detroit Iron is better than ever.
