The reason why the new Camaro is the best built GM vehicle you've owned is do to the fact from day 1 it was designed, engineered and assembled right. This is the direction all future GM's are going and the way it should of been before. The Oshawa Plant is one of the highest ranked GM plants for quality.
There's no question GM had problems other than the UAW, but many of those problems were in no small part made worse, if not caused by, UAW policies. The bailout wasn't for GM, it was for the UAW, GM still entered bankruptcy which they would have done without the bailout. Had they not taken the bailout, GM could have gotten out from under the UAW thumb in bankruptcy court. What were they thinking?
