this really did happen to me...on a 1995 chrysler new Yorker i had..i went to a local shop,being hispanic,i went to a "good mechanic"..or so i was told by a friend,he tells me my starter's failing,which it was,but i tell him ok,do the job,...so after about 2 hours its done,ok,cool right?
WRONG!!! i get in..everything's cool,and my dad takes a good look over,my dad's a old schol grease monkey himself,but he's lazy,then he says..how much were u charged?..i reply..about 250..he gets it,he tell me to get in,we go back,and my dad wresks havok in the shop..turns out they took it off,gave it a good scrubbing..put it back on..and kept a new started for themselve's..they did the job and refunded my money..ha!...
