My plan to absorb the depreciation is that my wife's grandfather retired from Ford, so I'm using the Z-Plan to buy it at a discount, my wife's brother works at GM so when I get the Camaro, I'll use the GM Family discount to buy that. Between the two I don't think depreciation will be worth more than enjoying the Mustang for 2 years and then getting the latest Camaro down the road.
As for the head room, the Mustang convertible as mentioned earlier in this thread has more than an inch more head room (torso - head) than the Camaro coup. When the Camaro convertible is available, that may change. For now, the Mustang fits me better.
