Where will you find a place to charge it if you happen to get 50 miles from home? (That is the upper range you can go, average driving will be much less I am sure) at least the Volt will still get you home, you don't have to keep a close watch on how far you have driven to make sure you can make it back.. seems like something else to stress over when driving...If you get caught up in traffic and need to use the heater or AC that will lower your range too.. The Leaf has alot more problems than you realize for most people to use it.. another thing is that has to be the stupidest name for a car ever...Leaf?

Do you drive 100 miles a day back and forth from work?
Obviously the Leaf is not meant for people going on roadtrips, it's meant as a commuter car. And 99% of Americans don't drive 50 miles just to get to work.
If you don't understand the purpose of this car, then there's no point in arguing about it with you
