We live in a free market for a reason.. Restructuring needs to occur without the Government officials who don't know squat about cars or the auto industry being put in charge of it and mandating regulations and what not to build etc..Most people don't want hybrids, that is why they don't sell.. Forget the union. Honest pay for honest days work is what is needed in this industry. Let state laws do the talking for labor rules. Let company run health care take care of medical bills, and let each person invest in their retirement. Unions are just added expense for the employee, but should not be for the employer. IMHO of course.
