Just an FYI... the 2010 Camaro SS in "Below avg" condition with 23k miles wholesales at $28,700 according to Manheim. This is the 'stock market' for cars and gives you a daily value on what the dealers use. This is where the REAL wholesale value is determined and what they use to determine the offers they make on trades.

Just curious, did you get $500 cashback as listed on the Ford site for Mustangs? Also, anytime the OEM is offering cashback, that means you can ALWAYS get a deal well below MSRP. On cars.com, there are 2010 GT500s with asking prices around $43k and less than 5k miles.... so the depreciation is a real biznatch on these... another clue that you can get less than MSRP on a new one.

I am not trying to rain on your parade... just hopefully giving some good advice on what data to collect before your next trade

Ultimately, all that matters is that you are happy with your new car. Money comes and goes.... memories are forever (or at least until the Alzheimers sets in.) Enjoy your time with the Cobra
