They didn't give you $33,100 for your car. They used some of the $3k markup that you paid to over allow for your Camaro. The sales manager didn't want to have a story to tell either. He just said that to get you to buy.
Paying a markup on any car, especially a GT500 that offers slightly better performance than a 2010 that you could have saved THOUSANDS on, is absolutely retarded.
So, you lost $1500 in negative equity that got added back onto the GT500 note and you paid $3000 over sticker. That's an extra $4500 added on to your car note.
Did they give you a bottle of this to help with the screwing they gave you?

jesus man, i'm not dumb... i know that the 33,100 was against the 3k i paid on the top of the sticker.
i knew going into it that if i wanted that car this summer, i'd pay a mark up.
i didn't want a 2010, i wanted the new 2011; and was willing to pay a extra for it.
dont make it out to some crazy screw over, i could have taken my 2k down payment; put 1500 of it on the camaro and used the other 500 on the down payment. would have ended up 0 tacked on due to the camaro and knocked in 500 against their markup.
the big difference is that my 2010 was not worth anywhere near 33,100 (or even 28,100 if you want to view it that way) with 23k miles; especially considering the damage the car had when i left her.
i appreciate your enthusiasm to rain on my little parade though.
