I agree...Everyone has an opinion, but the OP asks about looks alone. These two cars are in completely different price ranges! Anyone who claims they were in the market for a Camaro but decided on a 3 series coupe is lying! Or they hit the lottery while car shopping! You really can't compare the two (apples and oranges)...
BTW: I have driven A LOT of BMW's (some great, some not so great)--My dad owns a service shop that is strictly BMW and I married a GM guy who has owned several Camaros/Vettes. I have heard all of these debates at family get-to-gethers for years. It really boils down to personal preference... As you can see I shifted from BMWs to GM vehicles (except for the 92 325is I had when I got married-It still has a place in our garage next to my husband's vettes--He's Thrilled!)
